Lisa joined the College of Architecture, Planning and Design in 2010. She coordinates academic advising for the College, works with students facing challenges impacting their academics, and maintains and coordinates university and college academic polices, including graduation and graduation checks, new student orientation and enrollment, curriculum changes, transfer credit evaluations, DARS updates and exceptions, adding/dropping courses, student absence notifications,reinstatement and student withdrawals. Lisa also serves as the liaison to the Environmental Design Studies (ENVD) program and the liaison to the Office of Student Life.

Before coming to K-State, Lisa served as Dean of Student Development at Neosho County Community College, and more recently as a counselor at Clay Center Community High School. She is a member of the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) and Kansas Academic Advising Network (KAAN). Lisa also serves on several college and university committees.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business from Baker University, and a Master of Science in Counseling (Student Personnel Services) from Fort Hays State University.
