Hi Everyone_
I hope your first week of classes went well. It has been a whirlwind of activity for sure but the ship is sailing. It should be a busy but exciting semester. Let's make sure we do our best to promote the great work of our students in the halls but also externally by letting us know what is going on so we can put it on Facebook and others outlets.

I do want to congratulate Vlad on his Urban Hero award from the Kansas City Downtown Council. We always knew Vlad was a very urban guy and now he is an urban hero. Super hero status is pending so action figures will be available for individual purchase soon. In all seriousness, it is a great honor and speaks highly towards Vlad's passion for Kansas City and K-State's presence there.

Have a great weekend.
Matt Knox AIA
Professor and Head
