Message from the Department Head

Our final faculty candidate is in town and will be involved in interview activities all day today and tomorrow morning. His presentation occurs today (Monday) in Seaton 207 from 2:00-3:00. Students' meeting with him occur Tuesday morning at 8:30 in Seaton 207. Thank you to everyone for your participation and assistance in making our candidates aware of the special nature of IAPD and K-State!

Today is Design Expo from 10-3 in the Alumni Center. This is an exceptional opportunity to meet representatives from a wide variety of firms and to set up interviews for internships and post-graduation positions!

The 5th year exhibit of furniture projects was a resounding success on Friday evening. Thank you to Dead Leaf and all the supporters of this event during First Friday. From before the official opening until past the scheduled closing time, the exhibit was packed with those viewing the work and seeking indepth information. Congratulations to all participants on a well-designed and executed exhibit.

As you will see in the calendar of events, we have a busy few weeks before us.
