Rotary Peace Fellow

Congratulations to yet another Rotary Peace Fellow recipient from IAPD, Professor Ryadi Adityavarman. Ryadi follows suit in receiving this award after Professors Katrina Lewis and Vibha Jani. Prior to Katrina's award, no designer had been awarded this honor, and now three of our own faculty have received it. Significantly, the opportunity to study the core of conflict and peace and be at the forefront of the role design can play is an emerging and important field.

Ryadi will spend the summer of 2015 at the Rotary Peace Center at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand in conjunction with this award.

Congratulations to Ryadi as he helps solidify the path for future designers to be recognized as Peace scholars.
