Department Head Notes

Welcome back everyone! I hope you enjoyed your break and are as happy to be back in Manhattan and Seaton Hall as we are to have you back. This spring semester will be one filled with opportunities for your involvement - we have the IAPD 50th Anniversary, NASAD accreditation visit, and many fascinating reviews you can engage in.

Our IAPD students are being recognized for their design contributions - congratulations to Emma Montgomery for winning the Steelcase NEXT competition (read the article linked below to learn what a wonderful accomplishment this is). Congratulations also to Emma Cole for the winning first place in the landscape and architectural details category of the Photo Competition.

Those of you on study abroad and internship, please send us information to include in the newsletter; and we will enjoy the experiences alongside you!

Next week, we will highlight some of the elective courses that are only possible through the magnificent championing and commitment of our advisory boards; for now, settle in and let's work together to make this semester rewarding and compelling!

National Awards

Congratulations to fourth year Emma Montgomery who has received the Grand Prize award for the Steelcase NEXT Competition.
