OFS BRANDS FIELD TRIP
Kathy and Neal accompanied eight 5th years to Huntingburg, Indiana to visit the OFS Brands manufacturing center and head office.  The family-owned company has a rich history spanning multiple generations, and a core sustainability philosophy that permeates their processes and growth. They experienced facility tours, sustainable forestry practices, and presentations about  the product development process from a manufacturer's point of view. Students shared a preliminary presentation of research on their "briefs" to gain valuable feedback.
3RD YEAR STUDIO UPDATE
3rd year is down to the final week of the "near environment" project which is the bus from El Dorado National (the same company that makes the ATA buses).  The production is well underway.  Full scale foam core models are being created and will be put into the bus soon!  Final critiques are on Nov 9th.  If you are interested in seeing what 3rd year is building and designing come on over and check it out! ~ Jamie Causey
