The napkin sketch contest for Architectural Record was a success.  Thanks to everyone who participated. 
LAST CALL FOR SKETCHES
If you want to submit a napkin sketch for the Architectural Record magazine contest it is due in the IAPD office by noon today!  Be sure you have a completed entry form attached to your napkin sketch.  We are really excited to submit the ones we have received.  They are fantastic!  Good luck to everyone!
INSURANCE CARDS
Please be reminded that the IAPD office will need a copy on file of your insurance card before you go on field trips.  You may bring your card into the IAPD office and we will make a copy for you.  Please get this done asap!
KUDOS
Congrats to Chris Manzo on his abstract, From Drawing Board To       Tiny House:  Student Engagement With Cultures Of Building, has been accepted for oral presentation at the Housing Education and Research Association
(HERA) 2016 annual conference.  The conference is October 23-26, in Jacksonville, Florida.  Great job, Chris!
DESIGN WARS
Mark your calendars! The 4th Annual IIDA Mid-America Student Design Wars will take place in Kansas City on September 30th. During this one-day charrette challenge, teams of students will leverage their creative talents to compete for a shared $2,000 cash prize!
