REGISTER FOR DESIGN WARS ASAP
IAPD has had amazing success at this event in the past.  Erin Heiden was on the winning team last year that took home cash!  We have gotten word that only one IAPD student has signed up for this opportunity!  Please take advantage of design opportunities when they come your way!  You can register here.
SPARK
Spark will be TONIGHT from 7 - 8pm at APD West.  We will cover what to do with your sketches as you move forward in the design process. We will cover how to use PhotoShop and  Rhino to make diagrams, sketches, and overlays.
STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS - ROYAL PURPLE
The Royal Purple is offering campus organizations such as IDSA, IIDA, IAPD Student Council etc the opportunity to be featured in the 2017 yearbook.  Please take advantage of this opportunity to highlight IAPD Student Organizations!  It is a FREE service.  Visit their website to schedule your photo. Being featured in the Royal Purple is an invaluable way to commemorate your group and recognize your hard work.
3RD YEAR FIELD TRIP
The 3rd years spent this past week in Denver enhancing their design knowledge.  They visited two dealerships and four firms all of which had K-State alumni except one.  They also toured four architectural buildings and attended a Rockies game.
4TH YEAR FIELD TRIP

4th year spent the week in Chicago and Grand Rapids, Michigan visiting firms.
5TH YEAR STUDIO UPDATE
5th years have established a GoFundMe account to help raise money for them to present their selected research abstracts at the International Conference on Education, Research and Innovation in Spain in November.  If you'd like to help them you can see their gofundme page here
5TH YEAR STUDIO UPDATE
While 3rd and 4th year were away on field trips, 5th year was working hard on wrapping up their research process and starting the design process for the SAVE Farm. Also, several of them were traveling to research for their thesis projects.  Thanks to Nicole Baith for the update
