PROFESSOR RYADI ADITYAVARMAN ATTENDS CONFERENCES
IAPD faculty are continually striving to be the best they can be through attending conferences, presenting at conferences and having their works published.  Most recently, Associate Professor Ryadi Adityavarman attended the Asian Studies Conference, which focused on contemporary cultural issues in Asia, at Cornell University and Utica College. The event participation was part of his professional development in which he has served as an Associate Faculty in Research for the Outreach Program of the Southeast Asia Studies at Cornell University since 2004.
Ryadi has been interested in the influence of cultural design factors since his undergraduate studies in both Architecture and Anthropology disciplines in Indonesia. Recently as the 2016 Rotary Peace Fellows, Ryadi developed conflict resolution proposal based on comprehensive socio-political and cultural analysis for informal urban settlement in Java at the Rotary Peace Center at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.
