ANNOUNCEMENTS

Last call to submit images to be used on the departmental notecards. Please have any images that you think would be appropriate to use on thank you notes to Courtney by Wednesday.

Dean de Noble has provided funds again this year to upgrade formats and/or to add new titles to Weigel Library's media collection. Please send Maxine suggestions for new titles you want included in the collection by the end of February.

OUR CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS Master's Project and

Report Mid-Crits will take place Monday-Wednesday-Friday afternoons this week in 106c. All faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend presentations of interest. You can view the schedule and title of student projects here

OF INTEREST

The PGASLA Call for Entries in the 2014 Design Competition is available here. Entries must be hand delivered or postmarked March 17. Student entries are free. The competition is a great opportunity for recognition of studio projects and research.

Three great speakers are coming to our region. Faculty and students are invited to attend and participate in the Finding Center Conference on April 11 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. You can find more information here. The Call for Abstracts is here. Abstracts are due Feb 21.

The Journal Landscape and Urban Planning (LAND), in collaboration with several international institutions, will host an international symposium entitled Doing real and permanent good in landscape and urban planning: Ecological wisdom for urban sustainability on Oct 17‐19, 2014 at the city of Dujiangyan, Sichuan, China. Click here for more information.
