OUR CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Elizabeth Decker, MLA 5th year, was featured in K-State Today for developing a toolkit for her master's research report that helps designers and planners make cities more inclusive for adults with autism. Click here to read more and here to see The Manhattan Mercury's May 4 article.

LAR 442 students with Professors Belanger and Nawre were in the St. Joseph News-Press on May 2.

Congratulations to Elizabeth Decker, MLA 5th year, for her Honorable Mention in the Mixed Media category of the APDesign Ted and Sue Knapp Delineation Competition.

OF INTEREST

There will be a workday at the Meadow, Sunday, May 11 from 1pm-5pm--come and go as you please. The agenda: remove erosion control socks; plant plugs of new plants and mulch around them; weed gingerly without trampling the plants emerging. Volunteers should dress in clothes that protect their skin from sun, wear sturdy shoes, bring a hat, and gloves.

Emily Hoffman Swihart, MLA, has two significant achievements this spring: she successfully defended her thesis and her baby, Frederick Royce Swihart III was born April 25!
