ANNOUNCEMENTS

Our August Faculty Meeting will kick off the semester today, August 19, 2013, 8:30 am in 106c Seaton. The agenda is attached in the calendar to the right. 

New books are arriving in Weigel Library, including Thoughts on building strong towns, Vol. 1, by Charles Marohn, Jr. Charles is scheduled to be the RCP Distinguished Lecturer on October 4th. To stay up-to-date on new additions click new resources link on the Weigel Library webpage.  

OUR CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Assistant Professor Katie Kingery-Page's STREETscapes Specialization Studio students are featured on the Jane Jacobs Walk website. The students had led the walk on Sept. 15, 2012, giving participants a tour of the historic core of Manhattan.


OF INTEREST

2013 ACSA Annual Meeting, Miami Beach, FL, April 10-12, Call for papers: “From Study Abroad to Global Programs: Beyond the Ground Tour.” Submission deadline is Sept. 18, 2013. Link for further details and submission guidelines.

The Call for Entries for the James Rose Center's Suburbia Transformed 3.0 has been released. ST 3.0 will celebrate and promote residential works that go beyond "green" to address the aesthetic quality of human experience in the process.Entries are due Feb. 18, 2014.
