ANNOUNCEMENTS

Virus alert! Please pay close attention to the malware alerts about CryptoLocker. Delivered as an attachment from an unfamiliar (but plausable) email, it will lock you out of documents on your hard drive. Do not open any attachments or click on any links in unfamiliar email.  More frequent backups are advised as is detaching any backup drives or anything that is non-essential to the current task you are working on.

Ken Greenberg will present the Ekdahl Lecture Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 4 pm in the K-State Union Little Theater. Please plan to be in attendance if your schedule allows. Click here for more information.

The LA/RCP Alumni Honorees will be on campus Nov. 7-8. Please view the agendas for Manjula Boyina, Diwakar Vadapalli and Elena Vossman Scott. 

APDesign's Research Symposium will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9 from noon to 5:30 pm. Click here for the schedule.

The food drive sponsored by SPA, has been extended until Friday, Nov. 15. Non-perishable items can be placed in boxes located at the front of each studio, or can be dropped off in Seaton 302. All donated food will go to the First Lutheran Food Pantry.

TEVAL time--if your class will complete hard copy TEVALs, please complete the information form and submit to Jody along with your requested evaluation time.

Academic Advisor Jayna Elsasser attended the Kansas Student Affairs Conference at K-State Oct. 31-Nov. 1. 

OF INTEREST

The 2014 Hart Howerton Fellowship Program is excepting applications. The Fellowship is available to both undergraduate and graduate students in planning, architecture, landscape architecture and urban design who will be entering their final year of study in September 2014. Click here for more information.
