President Obama included landscape architects in his comments on the importance of rebuilding transportation infrastructure during a recent visit to 1776, a tech startup incubator in Washington, D.C., that supports entrepreneurs tackling major challenges in education, energy, health care, and other critical industries. 

The Flint Hills MPO is seeking volunteers for the 1st annual Bike & Pedestrian Count on September 9th (Tues), 10th (Wed), and 13th (Sat).  Tuesday and Wednesday volunteers can join us after the count for Wheat State Pizza and Saturday volunteers will enjoy Call Hall ice cream.
