Caleb Amundson received his Master of Interior Architecture & Product Design from the College of Architecture, Planning, & Design at Kansas State University. His thesis was titled Commodity & Sustainability: How Informed Product and Retail Design Can Change The Way We Think About Buying and Discarding, and his interest lies in a holistic approach to implementing conceptual solutions across branding, spatial, and organizational scales. While at K-State, he received the grand prize for his design of a speculative co-working space for the Steelcase NEXT national student design competition and presented his research on The Importance of Visual and Acoustic Privacy and Security in Open Informal Collaborative Learning Environments at the ICERI international research conference in Seville, Spain. He deeply appreciates the focus on mentorship engrained in the architectural profession and is honored to serve in that capacity as an instructor.

In addition to teaching, Caleb is an interior architect and graphic designer at Hoke Ley, a boutique residential, commercial, and equestrian design firm in Lawrence, KS. He is also part owner of The Fellow, a co-working space in Manhattan, KS, where he collaborates with local artists and makers to provide a platform to display and sell their work.
