Recommended Computer \ Architecture
Fall 2020 - Spring 2021

Students will need to purchase a computer for studio before beginning the 2nd semester of 2nd year.


Professional grade workstations, these systems are highly customizable with many options beyond our recommendation. Please speak with a representative through the K-State Union Computer Store for available upgrades including possible Dell promotions and other discounts.

4 year on-site warranty is highly recommended.

SketchUp Studio for Students
Software may be purchased online at sketchup.com
$55 per year

Additional software may be specified in your instructor’s course syllabus.

Recommended options

Protect your investment from accidental damage or theft. Check with your homeowner’s or renter’s insurance and verify coverage, recommend purchase of a separate policy for your equipment if necessary.
