K-State Design Discovery is a program designed for high school or college students interested in the design professions of Architecture, Interior Architecture & Product Design, Landscape Architecture and Regional & Community Planning. If you are considering studies in the design and planning professions, this is your opportunity to find out more about what college and your eventual career might be like, as well as learning some great design fundamentals and design history.
This non-credit hour course is modeled after a collegiate architectural design seminar: students learn about the design fields through simple design projects, slideshows and discussions. A portion of each day will be spent visiting important design sites near the University of Missouri at Kansas City campus.
