INDD Industrial Design student work

Industrial Design

Acquire the knowledge and skills to create innovative products that will shape the future.

Our faculty instills in students the fundamental process of inquiry and conceptualization, along with the skills to design and make products with the potential to revolutionize our world. Through a dynamic curriculum that merges industrial design, furniture design, and entrepreneurship, our students are equipped to leave a lasting impact on the industry.

Why
Industrial Design?
I value the push to create and solve problems three-dimensionally. I can get a deeper understanding of semantics and the consideration of human factors of the design when I can observe it in person or at scale. Making is fun, and I love to see my designs come to life from my sketchbook.
Jordan Cutsinger, '23
I love the wide variety of things we design. There’s so much freedom for each person to express themselves and their creativity through design. It’s so inspiring walking up and down the concourse and seeing all the projects that our peers in this college have created.
