The objective of this capstone project was a re-design of JC Harmon High School, a multi-cultural and diverse high school in the Kansas City area. Students were to focus on how the interior architecture would contribute in the development of diverse teaching and learning environments to assist in the intellectual and spiritual growth of students while assisting the faculty and administration in achieving their pedagogical goals. Additionally, students were to consider how an interior architect’s work is shaped, and in turn, shapes the global view of education to inform future designs of the teaching and learning environments.
