Peak Pursuits Rock Climbing, located in Fresno, CA, strives to create a seamless interface between the natural and manmade environments. The approach to this design is guided by the idea that humans are an integrated part of the natural world, and our built environment must reflect this connection. To achieve this, the design highlights sustainable materials and design openings that maximize natural light and ventilation. Angles that are driven from the mountain views help embrace the unknown rhythm in nature while still providing a structural grid for the design.
