Victoria Brenneis victoriab@ksu.edu Originally from Wichita, KS, Victoria is a Kansas State alumna with dual degrees in Biology and English Literature. While studying medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center, she discovered a new passion for plans and landscape design. She is now pursuing her Masters in Landscape Architecture with a Horticulture Minor.

Stephanie Campbell Stephanie is from Philadelphia, PA. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Horticulture Science with a specialization in Plant Science and Biotechnology from Delaware Valley University, Doyleston, PA in 2006. Since graduation, she has worked as a laboratory technician for the United States Department of Agriculture - Agricultural Research Service and various other jobs. She is interested in all things plants.

Charling Chen Charling's interest in landscape architecture stems from a love for drawing and exploring different environments. She grew up in the Midwest but spent summers with her family in Taiwan. Charling received her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis in 2013. After graduation, she worked for art museums and design firms based in Birmingham, Los Angeles, and St. Louis. Through her work, Charling strives to synthesize art and science, and to celebrate the diversity of our social and ecological communities. Charling received a Jarvis fellowship and is working with Professor Canfield 2020-2021. | |
Jia Cheng Jia is from Zheng Zhou, China and completed her Bachelor of Science in Plan Science - Horticulture Design/Turfgrass Management at the University of Missouri - Columbia. With her strong plant background, she wishes to focus on design and become a licensed landscape architect.

Abigail Danner Abigail is from Tremont, IL and graduated with a BA double major in Biology and English from Monmouth College, IL in 2019. She is passionate about America's public lands and has previously worked at Acadia National Park in Maine and Klamath National Forest in California. Abigail received a Jarvis fellowship and will be working with Professor Canfield 2020-2021. She is interested in landscape performance and ecology.

Henry Googasian Henry is from Bloomfield Hills, MI. He graduated in 2017 from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Arts from the School for Environment and Sustainability, where he concentrated in urban planning and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). He wishes to build on his undergraduate education and pursue a MLA with the aim of bringing the environment and urban areas into harmony, both aesthetically and functionally.

Tonya Heslet Tonya is from Rossville, KS and graduated with a BA from Portland State University, majoring in Arts and etters and recently finished an automotive service technician degree from Washburn Institute of Techology. She is interested in sustainable urbanization, resource efficiency, and the protection of cultural and natural heritage. Tonya loves art, history, and romance languages. She looks forward to being involved in projects that promote creative expression, community engagement, and harmonious relationships with the natural world. | |
Thomas Schneider tdshneider@ksu.edu Thomas is originally from Pipestone, MN but grew up in Sioux Falls, SD. He graduated with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from South Dakota State University - Brookings, SD in may of 2018. During his time at SDSU, he was involved in two research projects on planting design and healthy communities, both of which were presented at CELA 2018. His aim is to become a registered landscape architect.

Enoch Akowuah Enoch is from Kumasi, Ghana. He graduated from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology - Kumasi, Ghana with a Bachelor of Science degree in Development Planning in 2015. He has worked inspecting stool lands (customary/traditional land ownership) and was an assistant clerk for Parliament in Ghana where he worked with the Committee on Poverty Reduction Strategy. Enoch is currently the Financial Secretary for the African Students Union and served as Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Student Affairs, and LARCP Department resepectively. He is looking forward to becoming a transportation planner and a housing advocate in a public or private institution. | |
Eunice Amissah-Mensah Eunic is from Accra, Ghana. She recieved a BSc. degree from Human Settlement Planning from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana in 2019. She is interested in Urban Planning and Design, Smart Growth and Environmental Studies, and Management. She is a good team player and an excellent leader. She has a love for basketball as well.

Julie Benyshek Julie is from Barlesville, OK. She received her degree in Environmental Design from the University of Oklahoma in 2017. After gradiation from Kansas State University in May 2021, she wishes to use her Master of Regional and Community Planning with a Minor in Business for a career in economic development.

Michael Yeboah Michael is from Tema, Ghana. He received a BSc. in Human Settlement Planning from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2020. His academic and professional interests are in Urban Design, Transportation Planning, Urban Resilience, and the use of Geographic Information System (GIS). He has been involved in some relevant development projects. He was involved in the design of the Social Housing Scheme designed by the Tema Development Company Limited. He took part in the feasibility study of the Central Spine Railway Line Project from Kumasi to Tamale (595 km), Freight Transporation Project in Greater Accra Metropolitan Area, and Development of the Volta Lake Inland Transport Project. He wishes to practice as a planner to help communities to be adaptive and resilient. |
