Corin Afzal is an architectural designer, researcher, and educator whose work explores the intersections of sculpture, vernacular traditions, and contemporary architectural practice. She received her Master's of Architecture from Kansas State University while investigating themes of tectonic sculpturalism and climate-responsive design. Their research projects, The Sculptural Thread and Amphibious Siam, examine how built form can operate as both cultural expression and ecological mediator, engaging with questions of architectural expression and resilience.

Afzal’s professional background spans architectural practice, teaching, and curatorial work. They have contributed to projects at Hollis + Miller Architects and Hoefer Welker Architects, focusing on educational, civic, and commercial design. Before continuing her education at Kansas State University, she worked as a gallery manager in Kansas City, jurying and designing contemporary exhibitions. Their experience as a gallery manager and exhibiting artist further informs a multidisciplinary approach to space, composition, and community engagement. Their work has been exhibited nationally and internationally in galleries and online platforms.
