Aziza Cyamani is a multidisciplinary designer with specialized training in user-centered design, visual communication, product development, and sustainable systems. She received her bachelor’s degree in Creative Design with a specialization in Media Design from Kigali Institute of Science and Technology and continued on to obtain master’s degrees in Industrial Design and Sustainable Environments from Iowa State University.

Aziza has acquired experience in product conception, development, and fabrication through working with different companies extending on the international level. Prior to joining Kansas State University, she had been working at a media publication company as a Graphic Designer.

As an instructor, Aziza is highly committed to inspiring and educating students. She has up to six years of teaching experience; through research, she explores pedagogies in design education that focus on sustainability and students’ design confidence.

Aziza is passionate about using her skills to engage with communities and creating entities that aim to promote equity for all.
