Message from the Department Head
Thanksgiving is just around the corner and I hope you have an opportunity to refresh yourself, enjoy the company of family and friends, catch up, and come back to Manhattan with a contagious energy and desire to finish the semester strong! Be sure to put any valuables in a locked area (or take them with you) over this week-long break.
As a mind teaser, check out the new developments in digital technologies here. (Thank you Kayla Hales for submitting this.)

This successful event is sponsored by IAPD 4th year students in honor of the 5th year class. This year’s event hosted a good number of students as well as many of our faculty and staff.

Assistant Professor David Richter-O'Connell was recently recognized by the Kansas State Chapter of Mortar Board Senior Honor Society as a faculty member who goes above and beyond at Kansas State University. Professor Richter-O'Connell's unwavering dedication to students, his support of student and faculty success, and his passion for Kansas State University were each factors in the selection.
Under the direction of Associate Professor Vibha Jani and Assistant Professor Dustin Headley, first year students collaboratively designed and installed an exhibit in the Chang Gallery titled Spatial Synergy. The wall panels of this experimental exhibit were inspired by the study of South Asian art, architecture, and dance.
