APDESIGN 1ST ANNUAL FIELD DAY
The APDesign Field Day will be Sunday, October 4th, 3:00 - 5:00 pm.  It will be held outside of APD West. Everyone is welcome to compete.  Come have some fun!  For more information see the flyer.
CHANG GALLERY
Exhibits by APDesign students who participated in the Italian Studies Program at Centro Studi Citta di Orvieto during their Spring 2015 semester are on display in Chang Gallery.  The exhibit includes photos from their time abroad, final projects and a time lapse video of the Orvieto market.  IAPD has four students with exhibits, David Amstutz, Diana Blom, Erin Heiden and Emma Mongomery.  The exhibition will run through October 4th so go check it out!
  
IIDA DESIGN WARS

Last Friday we were well represented at the third annual IIDA Design Wars in Kansas City.  Representing IAPD was David Amstutz, Diana Blom, Laura Cale, Erin Heiden, Matt Mastroly, Emma Montgomery, Allie Scripsick, Rebecca Keating, Chelsea Bainbridge, Hannah Gwartney, Jamie Causey and Madeline Appel.  Special shout out to Erin Heiden for being on the winning team which received $2,000!  Great job everyone!

TINY HOUSE

The rain did not deter second year students and faculty as they visited a tiny house in Manhattan on Friday. They are currently embarking on their next design project - a tiny house - and this visit in addition to individual research and group presentations provided valuable insights. Mid-project review occurs Wednesday afternoon at APD West.

APDPro UPCOMING EVENTS

New APDPro Mentor Program available to current 3rd, 4th & 5th year APDPro students. Application deadline is Sept. 30th.  Learn all about this program!

 

ADPPro:  Study Abroad Pecha Kucha, Thursday, October 1st at 6:30 in Seaton 063.  Come learn about your study abroad options for the spring semester of your 4th year!  Fellow APDesign students will share their study abroad experiences as a Pecha Kucha.
