Join SPARK tonight at 6 pm for some Halloween fun and snacks!  Learn several ways to create successful digital diagrams using Illustrator and Photoshop that communicate your ideas and design process.  Build on knowledge gained last week and take a glimpse at some valued peer work.

COLOR + COUTURE

A big thanks to all the people that helped with Color + Couture.  The event took place at Starlight Theater in Kansas City this past Friday night.  Fourth year model Emma Cole worked the runway and we received many compliments on the garment.  K-State IAPD was well represented by both students and alumni who attended and participated in the show.

5TH YEAR PRESENTED TO SAVE ORGANIZATION

On Oct 12th our 5^th year Capstone Studio students presented their conceptual design ideas for the Farm Training and Healing Center for the wounded soldiers. They will present their design development progress on 10/30 and final presentations Dec 9-11th at the Beach Museum.  Please read more about this incredible project here.

4TH YEAR PARTICIPATE IN STEELCASE WORKSHOP

On Oct. 15th, 4th year students in the Design Research course participated in a workshop hosted by Steelcase. The workshop was presented by Mr. Andrew Kim, Manager, WorkSpace Futures, Gabriela Scarritt, and Aileen Strickand. During the workshop students were exposed to various data collection methods.  Read all about this awesome workshop.
