LARRY KING - ALUMNI FELLOW

Larry King is a 1971 Interior Architecture graduate here at K-State and is being honored as an Alumni Fellow on campus April 6-8. Don't miss his presentation and Q+A session on Thursday, April 7 at 11:00 in the Beach Museum! Larry is a principal for IA Interior Architects and has over 40 years of experience in architecture, strategic design, planning and corporate general management. Please read all about Larry!

Congrats to Vibha on being elected to the EDRA Board of Directors. It is such a great honor and IAPD is very proud of Vibha's passion for service at such high levels.

Also a big shout out to 4th year Alex Marschman for being named an Honorable Mention for the Gensler Brinkmann Scholarship. The Gensler Brinkmann Scholarship Fund celebrates a commitment to nurturing new design talent by recognizing outstanding interior design students. Candidates were evaluated based upon their analysis and problem solving skills, design development, graphic presentation, communication skills and passion. Congrats, Alex!

STUDENT COUNCIL ELECTIONS

Today is the last day for IAPD Student Officer nominations. Be sure and email Erin Heiden (eheiden@ksu.edu) if you want to nominate someone. You may self nominate! Studios will vote on Wednesday.

INTERNATIONAL WEEK

The International Coordinating Council will host it's annual International Week April 3rd - 9th. There will be a variety of activities such as a fashion show, parade, cultural exhibition, dance lessons and panel discussions. Please see the flyer for all the information.

WELCOME 1ST YEARS INTO IAPD

IAPD Student Council welcomed the first years into IAPD with an ice cream social at APD West. There were over 40 people in attendance. Welcome!

5TH YEAR UPDATE

5th year is winding down to the last few weeks of school and everyone is still keeping very busy with their these projects. This past week they finished their Contemporary Design Seminar with Katrina and would like to thank everyone who came out Wednesday evening to watch their design videos.
