 IAPD students Caleb Amundsen, Alexandra Marschmann and Professor Vibha Jani along with their Steelcase collaborator, Andrew Kim, were selected to present their Design Research project findings at the SCUP Conference in Evanston, IL. They presented their research findings during a one hour presentation.

SPARK TONIGHT
Spark tonight will be focused towards rapid prototyping! We will discuss the advantages of prototyping and the resources we have available here. Come out to APD West at 7 to participate!
SAFE ZONE SEXUALITY & GENDER IDENTITY TRAINING
 Safe Zone will offer a training session from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 17 in 113 Leadership Studies Building.
Focusing on the many aspects of sexuality and gender identity, Brandon Haddock, coordinator of the LGBT Resource Center, will examine ways that students, faculty and staff can better understand personal perceptions of sexuality and gender identity and how they can further help educate and advocate for those who identify outside of the sexuality and gender binaries. Please register online.
COMPETITION OPPORTUNITIES
The Ken Roberts Memorial Delineation Competition (KRob) has celebrated the best in architectural delineation for 42 years. A Dallas classic that has received international recognition, KRob honors hand and digital delineation by professionals and students throughout the world. Averaging over 400 entries from 25 countries in the past several years, the competition's visibility continues to grow. The Ken Roberts Memorial Delineation Competition is the most senior architectural drawing competition currently in operation anywhere in the world. Fusion 360 Competition-
The Autodesk "Design for Home & Office" Challenge gets you and your designs closer to industry professionals and will help launch your career! Use Autodesk® Fusion 360™ to design a 3D personal work space and you could earn prizes, recognition, and face-to-face time with industry leaders from Steelcase. You will compete against other student designers and entries will be judged by a panel of top designers from Steelcase.
Simply create a 3D model of a personal workspace Autodesk® Fusion 360™ to participate.
