The department's facilities are concentrated within Seaton Hall and Seaton Court, centrally located on campus. Students come to know these buildings quite well during the course of their studies, as many design studio activities extend well beyond the confines of regular class meetings. As a function of the amount of time students spend around one another, a certain kinship often develops among them. History has shown that these friendships extend well beyond their years at K-State.
