The client for this project is Alina, a student at the Fashion Institute of Chicago. She has a high energy style that thrives on mismatching colors and patterns as well as experimenting with lots of accessories. This garment rack creates the opportunity for her to “try-on” different outfits as well as display some unique pieces in her closet. It balances between functional and sculptural, switching between being a figure resembling her and becoming a tool for her to showcase and develop her work.
