This project challenged the team to design a furniture set to represent the ideas or feelings attached to a music piece. They drew on the song “Meet Me in Montmartre” by The Fly Guy Five as inspiration. With its whimsical instrumentals, “Meet me in Montmartre” the team developed the concept to romanticize everyday life. The set includes a planter, a floor clock, and a wall-mounted reading light. Together, they make the set Dilly Dally. Using metal tube bending, the design reminds the user to find the joyful curves in life and not get stuck on the straight paths.
