EASE is an electric scooter designed for busy college students. Through a series of user interviews, it was discovered that students often use transit time to stress about homework, missing an opportunity for a mindful break. EASE transforms the commuting experience by encouraging users to disconnect from digital distractions and take time to reset. The design features a phone charging compartment and backpack storage, enabling students to stow their devices and unplug. By creating a space for students to reconnect with their surroundings, EASE turns mundane travel into a brief, rejuvenating break from academic pressures.
