Brian GrahamPAB Chair-Elect Brian Graham is the founder and creative director of Graham Design, a studio specializing in contemporary furniture and related products for the workplace and healthcare markets. With over 30 years of experience in design and architecture, Brian's strategic approach combines planning, research, and creativity to deliver solutions that meet the needs and expectations of his clients and end users. His work has garnered multiple awards and recognition from prestigious organizations such as AIA, IIDA, IDSA, IFMA, and The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture & Design. His mission is to create products that are functional, beautiful, and sustainable, enhancing the quality of life for people. Brian is an advocate and advisor for the design industry, collaborating with leading manufacturers, associations, and publications to promote the value and impact of design. He actively engages with the larger design community to champion a deeper understanding of the significance of design in contemporary culture. This includes participating in design talks, industry panels, podcasts, and filmed media. Of growing importance to Brian is building opportunities for a more diverse and representative design community. To this end, he serves on the board of Industrial Design Outreach, a 501(c)(3) non-profit with a mission to foster curiosity, promote creativity, and build self-confidence in youth from diverse communities through high school design education. Katie HokeHoke Ley | Lawrence, KS Katie Hoke leads the interior architecture and design studio at Hoke Ley located in Lawrence, KS. Her professional portfolio consists of high-end commercial interiors, retail design, and custom residences. Katie believes that the interior design and function should reflect the client’s life and habits, creating optimal environments for both comfort and productivity. Along with her interior architecture expertise, Katie has been an active equestrian for over 30 years. Katie’s knowledge of horses combined with her professional experience gives her the unique expertise to design safe and beautiful equestrian facilities. |

Amie KeenerGensler | Dallas, TX Amie Keener, RID, IIDA, LEED AP, CDT is a registered Interior Designer and Associate at Gensler, a global architecture, design, and planning firm widely recognized as the world’s leading collaborative design firm. She is a graduate from Kansas State University, with a Bachelor in Interior Architecture and specialty in furniture and product design. Amie’s professional career is a reputable mix of commercial interiors projects for energy companies and professional service firms. Currently, Amie focuses on furniture services, and takes great pride in her work and client successes, where she helps develop and implement corporate furniture standards for clients such as Devon, Cenovus, Shell, Sewell, Texas Instruments and Jackson Walker. Amie brings valuable solutions to her clients and the built environment through her collaboration with many of the industry’s major manufacturers and furniture dealers. Amie believes in giving back to the industry. She is past president of the Texas/Oklahoma Chapter of the IIDA and currently a board member of the Texas Association of Interior Design, advocating for legislative issues. She also served at the interim Department Head to the Interior Architecture & Product Design Department in 2016-2017. |

Jonathon KemnitzerKEM STUDIO | Kansas City Jonathon Kemnitzer, IDSA, is a co-founder and principal of KEM STUDIO. His close observation of everyday life and the way people interact with space and objects constantly informs his work. He is a collaborative designer who builds global brands through innovative solutions to make people’s lives better through design. His work has been recognized in numerous national and international design competitions and publications. Jonathon has an eclectic interest in music, film (he was once in a movie with Paul Newman) and the culinary world (he has a cocktail named after him). Additionally, he enjoys giving back to the community. |

Andrea NelsonHaworth | Holland, MI Andrea Nelson is a Senior Product Marketing Communications Project Manager at Haworth, a leading designer and manufacturer of office furniture with a global reputation for innovative, high-quality products, and services. She holds a Master of Interior Architecture and Product Design with a specialty in furniture design. Andrea has extensive experience in product and surface material development, color and material research, marketing, project management, and product management. She is also skilled in several areas including space planning and performance environments, furniture design/build, and graphic design. She enjoys exploring creative avenues through ceramics, woodworking, and fiber art which resulted in launching NELSON STUDIO 215, LLC in 2015, a shop and studio showcasing her artwork. |

Doug ShapiroRegional Vice President, OFS Doug Shapiro is the VP of Research and Insights at OFS and has over 15 years with the company. He has extensive experience developing new products and collaborating with designers from all over the globe. Since April 2020, he’s hosted a weekly podcast called Imagine a Place – A podcast about people, places, and design to help you learn and grow. Shapiro holds a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from Millikin University. From 2015-2020 he served on IIDA international board of directors and still remains heavily involved in IIDA’s student outreach programs. At Kansas State University’s Interior Architecture and Industrial Design department, he helped pioneer a course for 5th year students to learn about designing furniture for the contract market.

Adam StoverPopulous | Kansas City As a Senior Principal for Populous, Adam serves as the Director of Populous’ Design-Build and Product Development teams and plays a pivotal role as a senior member of the firm’s interior design leadership. With over 20 years of experience and a deep knowledge of the industry, Adam has collaborated with the top brands and sports business organizations in reshaping the standard of interior and premium spaces within sports facilities. Over the past 20 years at Populous, Adam has guided a variety of design categories including hospitality and public space, brand and sponsorships activation, and furniture and product design, among others. Looked to as a trusted advisor in the sports business industry, Adam has led significant interior design projects for all six of the major professional sports markets. A longtime advocate of design education and giving back, Adam resides on the interior architecture advisory board at Kansas State University where he obtained his Bachelor’s in Interior Architecture. In addition, he collaborates with top universities, brands, and organizations as a juror and frequent speaker on design and business topics. |

Nicholas RuizVictorGoods | San Francisco, CA Nicholas is a designer based in San Francisco, California. His experience jumps scales from architecture, furniture design, photography, and workplace strategy. He has worked on various global workspace projects in Europe, India, Australia, South America, Asia, and North America. He is currently leading his own design studio, VictorGoods, bringing products and furniture to marketplace. His primary focus is making massive positive change by collaborating with companies driving environmental sustainability, economic empowerment, and social justice initiatives. Nicholas graduated with a Bachelor's of Architecture at Kansas State University in 2004. He continues to stay involved with the school and takes every opportunity to mentor, lead, and, most of all, learn. |

Teague PeakPGAV Destinations | St. Louis, MO Teague serves as Project Lead and Field Art Director with PGAV Destinations, a studio specializing in Themed Entertainment, Animal Husbandry, Cultural Landmarks, and Branded Environments; His focus is directed predominately toward Themed Entertainment and Zoological Design. Teague has contributed to multiple projects receiving THEA Awards for Outstanding Achievement. Those include Cosmic Rewind at Epcot, Disney World, and SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. The latter of which includes three years of remote assignment in the United Arab Emirates. With an interest in Non-Rider Experience and Animal Enrichment, Teague seeks to create Destinations that are fulfilling to all their guests and residents. |
