Photo Lab

The photo lab is located in room 0072 (near the west basement entrance). Please contact the Dean's Office to schedule time in the Photo Lab.

    Seaton Hall 0072 (near the west basement entrance)
    Hours of Operation:
    Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • Scheduling & Access:
    Access to the Photo Lab is available by reservation. To schedule time, contact the Dean’s Office by emailing Ann Cook and Lisa Shubert. Please indicate if the request is for individual or group use. The lab door will be scheduled to unlock for your session.
  • Use:
    Faculty may request special accommodations for studio access. Use of the Photo Lab is limited to APDesign students and faculty.


Resources and Equipment

  • Black backdrop for smaller models.
  • Large white backdrop for furniture or very large projects.
    • Please keep this backdrop as clean as possible - do not walk with shoes on the white backdrop.
  • One flourescent light fixtures with square softbox and white diffuser.
  • Two LED light panels with barn doors to focus light.
  • Heliodon
  • Tripod for camera
  • Windows PC available in the room with SD card reader to preview photos.
