Photo Lab
The photo lab is located in room 0072 (near the west basement entrance). Please contact the Dean's Office to schedule time in the Photo Lab.
- Email Ann Cook and Lisa Shubert to make your request.
- You will pick-up a keycard from the Dean's Office to access the photo lab at your scheduled time.
- Accommodations can be for entire studio access by faculty request.
- The photo lab will be open on a first-come, first-serve basis during peak studio production times.
- No scheduling will be needed to access the photo lab during those time periods.
- An email will be sent out on the APDesign listserv noting the dates and times when the room will be open for use.
Resources and Equipment
- Black backdrop for smaller models
- Large white backdrop for furniture or very large projects
- Please keep this backdrop as clean as possible - do not walk with shoes on the white backdrop.
- Two flourescent light fixtures with square softbox and white diffuser
- Heliodon
- Tripod for camera
- Windows PC available in the room with SD and CF card readers to preview photos
Information
- You will need to provide your own camera to take photos.
- Equipment is available to checkout from Hale Library.
- The photo lab is a shared resource. Please use equipment carefully and clean up after you're done using the room.
- Please report any problems with equipment in the photo lab to the APDesign IT team.
