Hernán Gregorio is an Industrial Designer and Assistant Professor at K-State. He received his Master of Industrial Design from the College of Architecture, Urbanism and Design at UNMDP in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and in 2020, He also completed a second Master’s in Industrial Design at ESDesign, in Barcelona, Spain.

Hernán joined the Department of Interior Architecture and Industrial Design in 2017, and since then his focus has been on developing the new Industrial Design program and updating the existing curricula. In 2020, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor and Graduate Director of Industrial Design.

Professor Gregorio has a deep passion for Industrial Design and education. He enjoys working with students engaging them in creative, collaborative, and innovative projects. His research interests cover a wide variety of design fields like Product Semantics, Design Education, Technology, and Visual Communication.

Hernán is always looking to connect academia with the profession and is constantly participating in new challenges and collaborations with the industry. He recently won two international design awards, receiving first place in the BOSEbuild Design Challenge with his project “Friendly Dinosaurs” and a Bronze A‘ Design Award with his lamp collection called “Luminare.”
