This custom coffee table is inspired by the organic and simplistic nature of Scandinavian design. The table promotes gathering in its collective tree-like forms, and it emphasizes a central meeting point within a space through its triangular engagement of lines. This notion is carried through the joinery within branching legs, as well as in a split, yet unified, top surface. The division of these top pieces further offers directionality in space; either through the placement of furniture or where the client and her two young kids would gather at the table. The coffee table solidifies a sense of growth and natural cohesion that subtly adds both interest and comfort to a space.
