This dining table celebrates and makes visible the ritual of everyday activity, telling the story of place, time, and memory through generational wear. A major design consideration for this table was finding a way to reflect the shift in contemporary dining practices in the formal language of the tabletop. This change in geometry from a rigid rectilinear object to an obtuse and radiused geometry indicates a unison of power.
