The main goals for this project are to develop 21st century teaching and learning environments for the College of Education that facilitate students' intellectual and personal growth, while assisting faculty and administrators in smoothly delivering each curriculum instruction to meet their pedagogical needs, so that they can teach the next generation of students to become life-long learners and independent yet thoughtful, caring, and productive educators in the future. The College Of Education team researched and designed a 30-year vision which included looking at integrating learning pedagogies into a new vision for the college. The areas of focus included outdoor learning environments, an atrium space, breakaway spaces, classroom and staff support spaces. Other components of the design included the design of a custom product and furniture piece tailored specifically for the College of Education.
