The Coffee Bean Table is a testament to the meticulous craftsmanship of Danish design. Drawing inspiration from the work of Hans Olsen and Hans Wegner, this design embodies the Danish style through a blend of intricate joinery techniques and organic forms. The fabrication of the mortise and tenon joint posed a formidable challenge due to the curvature of the legs and required precise hand-chiseling to create a seamless integration between the components. The air-dried black walnut was procured from my grandparents' farm, adding character and emotional value to the unique design. A clear polycrylic finish was carefully applied to accentuate the intrinsic beauty and vivid undertones of the walnut wood.
