Fondue Pot

The inspiration behind this fondue pot is a seashell. The classic shape of a shell provides a more personal experience, because of the singular open facing facade. To allow for easy pass off between this personalized experience there is a built-in lazy susan in the base. The material of the shell or "pot" is cast iron, because of its ability to conduct and distribute heat. The base of the pot is made out of gold-colored steel. The contrast materials make for a clear distinction of parts. The front part of the base is where the pot is held. That is also where the hot plate is held. Because the hot plate is covered, the hot plate is protected from wandering hands, creating an extra layer of safety. The back part of the base is where the technology and battery is stored. The facade of the back is simple and a great place to grab and turn the pot. The hot plate is battery powered. There is a slot to place a charger on the back, this way once the pot is charged you can simply unplug and use until the battery runs out. The design in total is safe, simple, fun, all with a personalized experience.
