There seems to be a lot of love coming our way lately concerning our new facilities. The request for architectural services went out yesterday (see attached). Interviews should be happening in April so please stay tuned for more information. The real kicker is construction could start as soon as July 1, 2015! Our real test of creativity will be figuring out how to teach during that two year period with so many studios off line. But then again, not all problems are bad problems.

Today's image is from my niece's competition board which won the New York AIA Emerging New York Architects' QueensWay Connection Design Competition. Carrie Wilbert is one of our graduates from a few years back and has been living and working in Paris for two years. (Sorry for the shameless plug but I am really proud of her.)

The next three weeks are going to be very busy with some great lectures, faculty interviews and everything else going on so take a deep breath and get on the fun bus.

Best,
Matt Knox AIA
Professor and Head

Dean de Noble has provided funds again this year to upgrade formats and/or to add new titles to our media collection. This is a great chance for you to have available additional resources for the support and enhancement of your course curriculum. Please use this opportunity to recommend new titles you want included in our collection to Maxine by the end of February.
