Message from the Department Head
The week we have been waiting for is here. Final Review week has to be the best time of each semester and I look forward to checking out the work this week. Please encourage your students to check out other year level reviews.
As Kari sent out earlier, no faculty meeting tomorrow. If your committee has a must do item before we all head in different directions, let us know and we can schedule something for next week. If not, we will send out emails for items requiring feedback.
The Dean's Advisory Council met last Friday. Michael Gibson's students did a great job presenting their studio work during the lunchtime presentation. There was not much new information to report on other than development continues to moving along at an excellent pace and the market for hiring our graduates is very hot this year. When contracts are all signed, look forward to design work on the new building to start quickly. More than likely, I will be calling on some of you to lend support over the summer on programming issues.
Thank you everyone for your efforts in making this week truly a showcase for our program.

Professor and Head
