WEDNESDAY PIZZA FOR LUNCH!

Scott Rice Office Works will be hosting us for a Pizza Lunch on Wednesday (day after tomorrow) at APD West to celebrate our students winning the Steelcase NEXT competition two years in a row! All IAPD students please join us for this lunch in your honor. Thank you to Ron Burns, VP of Marketing and Business Development at Scott Rice for reaching out to us and arranging this lunch.

GLASSMAKING WORKSHOP

Donna will be hosting a glassmaking workshop for kids at the Flint Hills Discovery Center on February 27th and March 5th. If you know any kids 8-18 years of age who would be interested pass on the flyer!

5TH YEAR UPDATE

This past week 5th year has been preparing their schematic design presentations. The presentations will be the direction that each student will follow throughout the rest of the semester. In their contemporary design seminar they have been discussing the importance of joining professional organizations. They've also been going over their final video storyboards which will be finalized over the weekend. Thanks to Amanda Sloup for this update!

DESIGN EXPO INFORMATION

2016 Design Expo Firm Locations have been announced. The firms may or may not be hiring for all locations during the Expo but you should check out the locations of the firms. The list of same day interviews at Design Expo has been announced. The list is subject to change the day of the event.

HEADSHOTS

Headshots will be taken at APD West February 17, 8 am - 5 pm. This is a walk-in opportunity for professional head shots, please take advantage of it.
