ANNOUNCEMENTS

The 2013 ASLA meeting in Boston will be the site of celebrations and special activities for LARCP faculty, students and alumni. All LARCP alumni received an e-postcard advertising our contributions and accomplishments at the meeting.

Our KSOL LARCP Faculty folders are being cleaned up and organized. Please let Jody know if you have difficulty finding information. Our goal is to simplify and update. The folder organization reflects our department standing committee structure with the addition of Administration and Planning (where you'll find essential forms and strategic planning information) and Alumni (directories, Advisory Council and Alumni Honorees and Fellows). No changes will be made to the Faculty Affairs folder--everyone uses this for a broad range of communications that we don't want to disrupt.

The food drive sponsored by SPA, ends this Friday. Non-perishable items can be placed in boxes located at the front of each studio, or can be dropped off in Seaton 302. All donated food will go to the First Lutheran Food Pantry.

OUR CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Assistant Professor Jessica Canfield will be presenting initial findings from a collaborative quality assessment of the Landscape Performance Series Case Studies to the Landscape Architecture Foundation Research Committee at the ASLA conference in Boston, Nov. 12-18.

Department Head and Professor Stephanie Rolley will
be joining the Landscape Architecture Foundation Board of Directors at the ASLA conference in Boston, Nov. 12-18.

The details of our 2014 Design Intelligence #2 ranking are profiled in a recent Land 8 blog, a good summary for those who do not have access to the Nov/Dec 2013 issue of Design Intelligence.
