The All-University Career Fair will be held Tuesday, Sept. 24 and Wednesday, Sept. 25 at Bramlage Colisem from 11am- 4pm.

OUR CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS

The Wichita Downtown Development Corporation sponsored studio is featured in a Wichita bank commercial highlighting creativity. Look for them starting at the 36 second mark. Professors Belanger and Hunt LAR 442 studio worked with WDDC Spring 2013.

Congratulations to Assistant Professor Alpa Nawre for receiving her State of Kansas landscape architects license.

Professor Stephanie Rolley served on a Planning Accreditation Board Site Evaluation Team Sept. 15-18 at the University of Utah.

Dr. Hyung Jin Kim's proposal 'Military children's physical activity and walking to school behaviors in Kansas: The Effect of the Built Environment' is being submitted to the Kansas Health Foundation, $34,000.

Professors Brent Chamberlain (Co-PI) and Lee Skabelundparticipated in the WSC-Category 2. Integrated Watershed Management: Sustaining Urban Ecosystem Services (Midwestern Model) $3.2 million proposal submitted to the National Science Foundation.

OF INTEREST

The Department of Sociology and Social Research of the University of Milan in Bicocca, Italy, is offering 6 Ph.D. scholarships to attend its Ph.D. Programme in Urban and Information Studies. Deadline for submission is Wednesday, Oct. 16 2013.

“Cristalplant® Design Contest 2014” announced a call for projects from young designers born after 01/01/1975. Deadline is Feb. 7.
