ANNOUNCEMENTS
Our condolences to Katie Kingery-Page on the passing of her father, Tom Page. Our LARCP family is invited to his memorial celebration in Wichita on October 19. Please stop by the office to sign a card for Katie and her family.
Our August Faculty Meeting will kick off the semester next Monday, August 19, 2013, 8:30 am in 106c Seaton. The agenda is attached in the calendar to the right. Please let Stephanie know if you have an additions or announcements.
Reserve lists for your classes are due to Maxine, mlganske@k-state.edu) by Monday, August 19. Please send or give her the list of resources you need on reserve in Weigel Library for your fall classes. The more information you can supply for each selected book/media (title, call number, edition) the better. Include 1) course name; 2) course number; and 3) loan period for materials (2 hour/overnight, 2 hour closed, 1 day, 3 day, 1 week). Note if there are multiple instructors connected to your reserve list. Thank you!
OUR CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Drs. Tim Keane and Chris Sass (now at the University of Kentucky) are featured in the August edition of Landscape Architecture Magazine. The article Streams of Many Shapes highlights the connection Tim and his students have made between stream science and landscape architecture.
