Danna Voegeli serves as the Director of Student Recruitment for the College of Architecture, Planning & Design (APDesign) at Kansas State University, a role she assumed on July 20, 2025. A dedicated and long-standing member of the APDesign community, Voegeli brings over a decade of experience in student recruitment, mentorship, and professional development to her leadership position.
Over the past 11 years, Voegeli has held a variety of roles within APDesign, earning recognition for her strategic vision, collaborative spirit, and unwavering commitment to student success. Prior to her current role, she coordinated APDPro, the college’s comprehensive professional development program, where she helped guide students from academic exploration to career readiness. Her holistic approach is shaped by a deep understanding of design and planning disciplines and their evolving role in shaping the built environment.
Voegeli’s student-centered philosophy is further enhanced by her recent completion of the Design Your Life curriculum at Stanford University’s d.school, equipping her with innovative tools to support student engagement, retention, and long-term success.
Before joining Kansas State University, Voegeli built a strong foundation in strategic communications, serving as a Marketing Coordinator at Results Driven Marketing in Wichita and as an Email Marketing Manager at MMGY Global in Kansas City. She is a proud graduate of Kansas State University, holding a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and Electronic Journalism.
