Michael Grogan joined the faculty of Kansas State University as an Assistant Professor of architecture in the fall of 2017. For over 20 years he has practiced in many cities throughout the US, most recently as principal of Michael Grogan Architecture in Boston, a collaborative practice focused on adaptive reuse projects. Additionally, for the previous 10 years he was an adjunct professor at Northeastern University and has also taught at The Rhode Island School of Design, Wentworth Institute of Technology, and was selected for two design studio Teaching Fellowships at Yale University. Michael received his M.Arch degree from Yale University and a B.Arch from the University of Arkansas and is a registered architect in Massachusetts and New York, a LEED accredited professional, and a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
